Even with shipping, that's $0.17/GB, $19 under last month's mention, and the lowest total price we've seen for this drive. (It's also a current price low by $65.) Sales tax is added where applicable. This 7200 rpm drive features an integrated 8GB SSD solid state drive and 32MB cache. Deal ends May 31.

That's $10 under our mention from three weeks ago and the lowest total price we've ever seen for this drive. (It's also a current price low by $20.) Features include a 7200 rpm spin rate, 32MB cache, and 4GB of SLC NAND solid state flash storage. This drive claims to perform up to 80% faster compared to mechanical 7200 rpm drives by placing commonly used programs on its 4GB of solid state flash storage.

TigerDirect offers the Seagate Momentus XT 750GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Internal Solid State Hybrid Drive, model no. ST750LX003, for $154.99. This $20 mail-in rebate cuts it to $134.99. With $2.29 for shipping, that's $0.18/GB and the lowest total price we could find by $15, although it was a buck less two weeks ago (since expired). This 7200 rpm drive features a 32MB cache. It also includes 8GB of SLC NAND solid state flash storage. Rebate expires May 26.

Trans Intl. offers the ProStor 635i 2TB eSATA / FireWire 800 / USB 2.0 External Hard Drive for $178 plus $8 for shipping ($0.09/GB). That's tied with last week's mention and $102 under the lowest total price we could find for a similar drive elsewhere. This 2TB 7200 rpm external hard drive features an aluminum casing, 64MB cache, eSATA and USB combo port, two FireWire 800 ports, and FireWire 400 port.
